Update to Domestic Shipping Policy

Our regular customers will likely have noticed that over the past month that there have been slight changes to our shipping processes. While maintaining the same packaging quality our customers have come to expect of us we have seen faster shipping times and more responsive customer service in our deliveries.

The root of these changes has been new partnerships with Singapore Post and DHL that enables us to better prepare, ship and track your orders. As always, we strive to be the most reliable and secure shipping option for Magic: The Gathering in Singapore, South East Asia and beyond.

Unfortunately, like with many things recently inflation has reared its ugly head. In tandem with the GST moving from 8% to 9% in 2024, Singapore Post has increased the shipping rate for all packages. The materials we use to ensure your orders are as well protected as possible during delivery have also gone up and this means that shipping costs have been creeping ever upwards.

So far this year, we have resisted increasing costs until we could ensure any increase would be commensurate with a better overall product. We have since done considerable testing and are now confident that we can justify the change of our Standard Shipping to $3.00 from its current $2.50.

The industry leading shipping protections you have come to expect from our packages will still endure but we are now also able to locate even standard mail from collection to delivery through our liaisons in Singapore Post. This will drastically reduce incidences of lost or delayed shipping that occurred periodically with our previous shipping methods.

Tracked packages will remain at $4.50 and customers will receive a tracking number for their order the moment we register a collection request with Singapore Post.

On top of this, packages are now shipped out more frequently. Most orders will be shipped out the day after they are made. For example, an order made on Monday will be mailed out Tuesday etc. As Singapore Post does not do mail collection on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays, orders made on the eve of a public holiday will be mailed out on the following day, while orders made on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be mailed out with Monday's mail.

With these improvements, we expect that a majority of packages should reach you 3-5 working days after your order is made.

We will also now require customers to include their contact number in their shipping address. This is such that our couriers can contact you directly if there is an issue with your delivery.

All these upgrades are already in place and will apply to all packages from now on. However, the price change will only come into effect on 1st June 2024. From now till then enjoy this improved service at the same old price.

We are also expanding our international mailing solutions with DHL. So far we have had successful and speedy deliveries to Australia, New Zealand, Brunei and Malaysia to name a few. The rates have been generally a 30% saving over our previous solutions and on average arrive in half the time it used to take. We're still experimenting though and when we are ready, we will publish more information about any changes. In the meantime, we will reach out to our international customers directly if they qualify for upgraded shipping or shipping rebates. For the immediate future, any savings that we accrue from our international shipping costs will be refunded in store credit as much as possible.

TLDR:

- Standard shipping will increase from $2.50 to $3.00 from 1st June 2024

- All packages are now trackable internally reducing incidence of lost/delay. However tracking numbers will only be provided to those who select Tracked Shipping.

- All shipping should be faster with most packages reaching customers 3-5 working days after date of order

- More information to follow on International Shipping.
