Greetings! A recurring feedback we received over the last year was that there wasn't a place which explains the Grey Ogre Loyalty Program in detail. We've decided to change that in 2025 and my hope is that this page will help with that.

Introduction
The Grey Ogre Games Loyalty Program was designed by us from the ground up as a deliberate method of rewarding our most stalwart supporters. There are three tiers that our customers can achieve; The 1st tier - Challenger, 2nd tier - Duelist and 3rd tier - Gladiator.
Qualification
Achieving each tier requires spending the required amount within the Qualification Period (1st Jan 2025 - 31 Dec 2025).
The required amounts of non-store credit spend* for each tier are as follows:
1st Tier - Challenger: $1,000
2nd Tier - Duelist: $4,000
3rd Tier - Gladiator: $10,000
For example, if you were to spend $500 in January and another $500 in February, you would achieve the 1st Tier. If you were then to spend another $3,000 in March, your total spending would reach $4,000 and you would achieve the 2nd Tier. If you spend another $6,000 by the end of the Qualification Period, your total spending would be $10,000, qualifying you for the 3rd Tier.
*Important note: Store credit usage does not contribute to your total spending. I.e if you make a purchase of $1000 and pay $200 by store credit and $800 in cash, only $800 will count towards your spending towards qualification.
Benefits
There are 2 fixed benefits for each tier. A Bonus Voucher as well as a percentage rebate on non-store credit spend*.
Bonus Voucher
1st Tier - Challenger: $50
2nd Tier - Duelist: $150
3rd Tier - Gladiator: $300
The voucher will be credited in the month after customers hit the required tier. The vouchers are also cumulative, for example if a completely new customer were to spend $4,000 in one month, they would achieve both the 1st and 2nd Tier at the same time and would receive a $200 voucher in the next credit window ($50 for 1st Tier, $150 for the 2nd Tier resulting in $200)
Spending Rebate
1st Tier - Challenger: 1%
2nd Tier - Duelist: 2%
3rd Tier - Gladiator: 3%
Store credit rebates will be calculated from each Tier's requirement. If a customer has already spent $900 for the year and makes another purchase of $150, the rebate would be calculated on any amount above the 1st Tier requirement, in this case $50 ($900 +$150 = $1,050. Rebate would be given for the $50).
In another example, if a 1st Tier - Challenger has already spend $3,900 in the qualifying period then makes another purchase of $300, their total spend would be $4,200. In this case, the $100 required to hit the 2nd Tier requirement ($4,000) would receive a rebate of 1% while the $200 above the requirement would receive 2%.
*i.e If a 1st Tier - Challenger were to spend $100 on a purchase, they would receive a $1 rebate (1% on $100). However if $90 was paid in cash and the remaining $10 was paid using store credit then they would receive $0.90 instead (1% on $90).
How long will I receive benefits for?
Hitting any tier grants the associated spending rebate for the rest of the qualifying period as well as the whole of the year after. This is to allow our customers to enjoy the benefits they earn for at least a full year while also providing incentive to progress towards the next tier even in the later part of the year.
For example, for the qualifying period of 1st Jan 2025 - 31 Dec 2025, if you achieve the 2nd Tier - Duelist, in November of 2025, you would benefit from the 2% store credit rebate on spend for the rest of 2025, as well as the whole of 2026.
As you accumulate spend in the new qualifying period in 2026, you will still benefit from the 2% rebate. To be clear, you will always benefit from the higher benefit that you have qualified for. If you were to spend $1,500 in 2026 and only qualify for the 1st Tier, you would still enjoy the 2% benefit until the end of 2026.
In this instance your rebate for the next qualifying period in 2027 would then be 1%, the 1st Tier that you qualified for in 2026.
This overlap has proven to be a source of confusion for some and we hope that these examples will help to clarify any doubts.
Rewards distribution timeframe
Both Bonus Vouchers and Rebate store-credit will usually be credited within the first 3 days of a new month. As the number of members of our loyalty program has grown steadily over the years, the amount of time required to ensure each member receives the correct benefits has also grown over time. That said, we will strive to ensure that all benefits are paid out by the 3rd of every month unless there are extenuating circumstances.
